The ideas I have for artwork are fleeting but very distinct, and I do my best to make them into something you can look at (and hopefully appreciate) before they’re gone, before I’ve grown tired of them, or before they’ve morphed into something else.

My drawings are the backbone of any and all artistic imagery I create, whether that’s a painting, a print, or even sometimes a photograph. What I am is a person who draws, and I’m slowly learning to incorporate other elements and media into my drawings to create a more dynamic and atmospheric expression of my original ideas and thoughts.

Most of my artwork can’t really be explained as a complete body of work, because it isn’t one. It is a collection of my feelings and thoughts manifested in colors and lines. A self-centered menagerie of spirit, if you will.

Settings, entities, and ideas appear in my artwork from a place nobody but me has seen.

I think each piece I create ultimately ends up reflecting regions of my personality and existence that I haven’t familiarized with yet. I hope it will awaken things in you that you don’t understand either.
